Washington, DC metropolitan area. We've been running continuously
since 1978.

| Trail: | The Trail #1653 Redux Trail OR "The Yes, we promise there will be shot checks, honest, no kidding trail!"
Trail is A to B, runners and walkers trails.
Friendlies: Dogs with leashes, virgins, dry shoes, dry socks, dry pants Unfriendlies: Strollers, National Park Police, Hugo Chavez, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, that clown from Stephen King's IT, farmers with guns, angry inbred hill people, and rabid deer.
Other useless information: With five, yes count 'em, five hares, this will be a spectacular trail. We'll be having more than just your standard orange food at the end of this trail. And then there will be Just Deb's special margaritas. Runners should bring dry shoes, dry socks, and dry pants. And dry other stuff if you're really clumsy. And sleeping bags if you get too soused to drive. (There is plenty of crash space at Casa de Oral.) Oh and don't forget to call your mother. Change or reverse your underwear at least twice a week. Don't trust whitey. Never pee into the wind.
